Willow Nightingale Names Competing At AEW All In And Returning To NJPW Among Her 2024 Goals

Willow Nightingale talks about some of her goals for the immediate future.

Willow Nightingale had a breakout year in 2023. This year, she became the inaugural NJPW STRONG Women's Champion, won the Women's Owen Hart Foundation Memorial Cup Tournament, became one of the first women ever to headline a Ring of Honor pay-per-view, and more. However, there is still much for her to accomplish.

During a recent appearance on the Under The Ring podcast, Nightingale revealed that some of her goals for the immediate future include winning a championship in AEW and wrestling under the New Japan Pro-Wrestling banner again.

"I still have not held any championship gold in AEW, so that is a big goal for me," she said. "I think I would love to return to New Japan, whether that be a show stateside, or to wrestle in Japan again. I think I would love it."

Nightingale also expressed a desire to compete in Wembley Stadium at the next AEW All In event in August 2024. She admits that she was very proud of the team when they broke the record for the most tickets ever sold for a wrestling event in 2023, but she would rather be competing in Wembley Stadium than watching the show from her couch on Long Island.

"I think it would be crazy not to mention Wembley she said because we had that show there where we broke records. While I was super proud of the team and I was cheering for everybody the whole way, I watched that on my couch on Long Island, and as much as I love sitting on my couch on Long Island, it does not compare to Wembley Stadium," she said. "So that is a big goal for me this coming year to take part in that.

"Those are really the three things that would bring me the most joy over the next year," she continued. "If I could accomplish those three, I'd be a happy camper."

Nightingale most recently competed in a Street Fight alongside Kris Statlander in a victory over Diamante and Mercedes Martinez on the December 16 episode of AEW Saturday Collision.
