Willow Nightingale Recalls First Meeting Harley Cameron: Harley Was Just So Warm And Kind And Eager To Do As Best As Possible From The Very First Day

Willow Nightingale recalls first meeting Harley Cameron when they competed on Dark.

Willow and Harley have recently began teaming as the AEW Women’s Tag Titles tournament gets closer and closer, with the pair even recently coming up with a tag team name. Now, Willow has looked back on their first match together on AEW Dark.

While speaking to Shak Wrestling in a new interview, Willow Nightingale was asked about competing in Harley’s first match in AEW.

“It’s been so cool, I have to say, like, before, like, getting to know her, anytime people are coming in to do work with us and, like, they’re not officially on our roster, you don’t really know anything about them. You kind of meet them that day. Then, bam, like, you just have to work together. So you never know their background or anything. But, like, immediately, Harley was just so warm and kind and, like, eager to do as best as possible from that very first day. I mean, she’ll tell you, she also has this message saved that is so cute that she sent me the other day. But it’s been so amazing to see her growth because she came in already, looks like a million bucks, has this beautiful singing voice, is a talented musician, ventriloquist extraordinaire, has comedy chops, all of these amazing things and is crushing it in the ring and constantly trying to get better. Like, so many of us have been doing this for, like, a decade, and that’s not something you could just learn overnight, but Harley is doing this on television and crushing it, and I don’t know that I would have been able to grow under the same pressure and stress, and I’m so happy to have that kind of strong-willed and like dedicated, hardworking person at my side.”
