Wolfgang: The Goal Is To Have NXT UK To A Level Where It's Competing With NXT

Wolfgang has high hopes for NXT UK.

The Daily Star recently did a feature profile on the UK Performance Center, highlighting WWE's commitment to recruiting talent overseas. In the profile, the publication talked to NXT UK superstar Wolfgang, who gave his thoughts on where the NXT UK brand currently stands.

Lexis King To Represent WWE NXT At ROW No Limits On 5/11

"I’ve been doing this since I was 15 years old and this was never a possibility. The WWE rarely came over here apart from the tours. I thought this wasn’t going to happen for me. I was 29 going on 30. It’s amazing," said Wolfgang. "The goal right now is to get NXT UK to a level where it’s competing with NXT in America. The draw we are getting right now is up to 3,000. WrestleMania has had crowds of 100,000. To even have a WrestleMania here and feature some of the UK guys, that’s obviously the dream for everybody."

NXT UK was featured over WrestleMania weekend as Pete Dunne put the NXT UK Title on the line against WALTER at NXT TakeOver: New York. The brand also taped matches and segments of their weekly programming during WrestleMania Axxess.
