At least one championship match for WWE Extreme Rules 2022 will be determined on the September 9 episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
Liv Morgan is headed towards her third pay-per-view title defense as SmackDown Women's Champion. Coming off of a victory over Shayna Baszler at WWE Clash at the Castle, Morgan now knows that 5 women will be fighting to earn a spot against her at Extreme Rules, including a recently reinstated Ronda Rousey.
Rousey will be in a Fatal 5-Way against Natalya, Sonya Deville, Xia Li, and Lacey Evans on Friday, September 9. This will be Lacey Evans' return to the ring. Sean Ross Sapp tweeted recently that WWE claimed she wasn’t medically cleared in recent weeks
One week after having her suspension reduced to probation and locking WWE Official Adam Pearce into the Armbar, Ronda Rousey will return to action on the blue brand and the stakes could not be higher. The Baddest Woman on the Planet will battle Sonya Deville, Natalya, Lacey Evans and Xia Li in a Fatal 5-Way Elimination Match. Whoever survives the completely unpredictable contest will challenge Liv Morgan for the SmackDown Women’s Title at WWE Extreme Rules!
