A statement was sent out from the World Woman Pro-Wrestling Diana promotion about 17-year-old Yuma Makoto.
The promotion noted that she is going to be finishing up with them on June 30th, 2025, and she'll be stepping away from wrestling as a whole. The reason for her departure is being attributed to a breach of trust (not following instructions).
Diana founder Kyoko Inoue tweeted that the situation is unfortunate, but they are moving forward with their roster and team who are striving to be professionals every day.

Makoto first began amateur wrestling at the age of 6, and she had aspirations of competing in the Olympics. While she was in school, she took an interest in professional wrestling and joined Diana.
She made her in-ring debut in 2023. She last wrestled at the STARDOM New Blood event on June 4th.
