Dream match booked for WrestleMania weekend.
WrestleCon announced that Will Ospreay will take on Bandido at their annual WrestleMania weekend event on Apr. 4. Ospreay and Bandido have never squared off inside the ring but both men are renowned for their aerial ability. Ospreay has toned his style down a bit since moving up to the heavyweight division and becoming NEVER Openweight Champion.
Bandido is under contract to ROH while Ospreay makes his home in NJPW while also freelancing. Both men are expected to take part in the ROH-NJPW G1 Supercard two nights later. Neither man has been officially booked for the show.
"This one was at the top of our wish list since we starting booking the show last June. Thank you to ROH for allowing their contracted talent, Bandido, to finish up his US independent dates with WrestleCon," said the promotion in a statement on Facebook.
No other matches have been announced for the show. WrestleCon will be available on FITE TV and as part of the FITE Fest package. You can find more information on FITE Fest here.
