Daniel Bryan getting back in the ring seems like more of a possibility with each passing day.
Daniel Bryan's last two years in the wrestling ring were packed with hope. He took the fans on a journey leading into Wrestlemania 30. His "yes movement" gained so much momentum WWE seemed to bend at the will of the fan. Daniel Bryan would become WWE World Heavyweight Champion at Wrestlemania 30. News of his neck injury broke soon after. After weeks of avoiding it, Daniel Bryan vacated his title. He comes back just in time to declare he would be entering the Royal Rumble. When he was eliminated from the Royal Rumble, he lost his potential world title match. But at Wrestlemania 31, Bryan walked away with the Intercontinental Championship.
The title has nostalgic value and Bryan was seen as a fitting champion to bring the title back to prominence. But alas, Daniel Bryan would soon be injured in a match (for the last time). After being kept out of competition because of a concussion, Daniel Bryan vacated a second championship. Now he is seemingly too much of a medical liability to get into a WWE ring. He currently works as General Manager of Smackdown Live.
The Inquirer from Philadelphia interviewed Daniel Bryan on philly.com. The interviewer asked about Bryan's possible return to wrestling. Bryan said “It’s a very complex issue ,If I was on my own, if I wasn’t married, I would be like ‘Yeah, when my contract is up. I’m gone....But, it becomes different when you have a wife and you’re trying to have kids.”
Daniel Bryan's current contract ends in 2018. On Talking Smack,Daniel Bryan said if he did go back, he named the Tokyo Dome as a possible place to return.
