News concerning one of WWE 2K22’s new game modes and whether or not microtransactions will play a role in progress.

2K Games recently surprised the world with a look at 10 features that will help set the game apart following a two-year layoff from any WWE simulation-style game. One of these new features was called MyFaction.

Sanga Released By WWE

Akin to NBA 2K’s MyTeam, players will be able to select the number of wrestlers and form a new faction in the vein of D-Generation X or the New World Order and help level up the wrestlers and progress via game modes and challenges.

Courtesy of a new video from Smacktalks, new details concerning the mode are now available including what role microtransactions will play.

Per the video, it was revealed in a press call prior to the release of the trailer that the mode will only be a single-player, offline mode.

Concerning potential Virtual Currency purchases allowing for a pay-to-win style of gameplay, 2K also confirmed that Virtual Currency doesn't offer any sort of competitive advantage or players in a play-to-win situation, noting that items that you purchase with Virtual Currency can also be purchased with MyFaction points earned by simply playing the mode.
