WWE moving forward with including inter-gender wrestling into the fray.
Twitter user @flairsnia posted a clip of an advertisement for WWE's live event in Jonesboro, Arkansas on February 22nd and in the clip WWE promoted a special attraction inter-gender match for the show between former RAW Women's Champion Nia Jax and Dean Ambrose.
Nia Jax inserted herself into the 2019 men's Royal Rumble match and eliminated Mustafa Ali. It took Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio and Dolph Ziggler to get eliminate her from the match. The following night on RAW, Nia interrupted Dean Ambrose as he was about to address the WWE Universe and she then bumped Dean out of the ring.
This past Monday on RAW, Dean Ambrose was a part of a segment involving Nia Jax, Alexa Bliss, Tamina and EC3 in-which Dean joked about Nia having a crush on him which was the reason for their altercation the night after the Royal Rumble. WWE has officially announced that "The Lunatic Fringe" will not be re-signing with the company once his contract expires in April and they issued the following statement about the situation:
Dean Ambrose (Jonathan Good) will not be renewing his contract with WWE when it expires in April.
We are grateful and appreciative of all that Dean has given to WWE and our fans. We wish him well and hope that one day Dean will return to WWE.
