WWE Announces Kofi Kingston Re-Aggravated Shoulder Injury

Kofi Kingston is back on the shelf.

On the July 29th episode of WWE Raw, Michael Cole and Karrion Kross stated that Kofi re-aggravated his shoulder injury while competing during WWE live events in Japan.

The original injury was announced on the July 8th episode of WWE Raw.

The injury occurred during an attack by Karrion Kross on the July 1st episode of WWE Raw.

Kross defeated Xavier Woods on the July 29th episode of WWE Raw.

Before the bout, Kross referenced Kingston losing the WWE Championship to Brock Lesnar in six seconds, leading to Woods attacking.
