WWE Applies For Several Trademarks Including 'Trish Stratus'

WWE has applied for several new trademarks largely centering around the in-ring names of their competitors.

On January 14th, 2020, WWE applied for the following trademarks:

All trademarks are intended for wrestling-based entertainment services, covering a wide variety of potential uses.

Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment.

Trish Stratus wrestled her retirement match at SummerSlam 2019 against Charlotte Flair, Ever-Rise and its members, Chase Parker and Matt Martel, are still members of the NXT roster, and ethical has not been featured on WWE television since early 2019. His cousin and regular tag team partner, Primo was recently suspended in late-2019 for a wellness policy violation.
