WWE Backstage Viewership Down With CM Punk Return, Total Divas Viewership Also Down

CM Punk's return to WWE Backstage wasn’t enough to increase the show’s viewership.

According to Showbuzz Daily, the December 10 episode of WWE Backstage, which aired on FS1, averaged 127,000 viewers, down from the 138,000 viewers the December 3 episode drew, which did not feature Punk. That number is still higher than the 121,000 viewers the November 26 episode drew.

The November 19 episode, featuring the official debut of Punk as a special contributor and analyst, remains the most-watched episode at 180,000 viewers since it premiered in its 11 p.m. ET slot on FS1 in early November.

In the 18-49 demographic, this week’s show drew a 0.06 rating, down from the 0.08 rating the week prior drew. This week’s rating in that demographic ranked 128th on cable for the entire day.

In other WWE programming news, the December 10 episode of Total Divas, which was the season finale, averaged 229,000 viewers and did a 0.10 rating in the 18-49 demographic. The December 3 episode averaged 247,000 viewers and did a 0.11 rating in that same key demo.
