WWE Cancels Monday's SmackDown Live Event In Lowell

Another SmackDown Live event has been canceled.

With the addition of The Wild Card, WWE has freed up SmackDown talent to appear on Raw. A SmackDown live event was scheduled to take place in Lowell, MA on Monday, but the event has been canceled. Raw tapes from Albany, NY on Monday.

The Tsongas Center in Lowell issued the following:

WWE LIVE AT THE TSONGAS CENTER CANCELLED
The WWE Live event scheduled for Monday, May 20th at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, MA has been cancelled due to a scheduling conflict.

Any tickets purchased via credit card will be automatically refunded. Please allow 5-7 business days for the transaction to take place. Tickets that were purchased with cash at the Tsongas Center at UMass Lowell Box Office must be returned to the point of purchase in order to be refunded.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

 WWE previously postponed the May 6 SmackDown live event to allow SmackDown talent to appear on Raw. That day marked the introduction of the Wild Card rule, which allows SmackDown talent on Raw and vice versa.
