WWE has confirmed a prior report indicating that those in attendance for the June 15 episode of Raw were not required to wear face masks.
Jon Alba revealed a WWE statement that said "a number of friends and family" were allowed to be at the Raw tapings and those individuals had to take part in medical screenings. According to WWE, since those individuals were kept apart from the in-ring performers and social distancing guidelines were enacted, they were not required to wear face masks.

Fans have not been in attendance at WWE events since March 13. Yesterday, a select number of friends and family were permitted to attend WWE's TV production. These individuals were required to participate in medical screenings prior to entering the closed set at our training facility, and were kept apart from in-ring performers and production personnel. Attendance was below 20% capacity and social distancing guidelines were adhered to with at least six feet between parties, thus face masks were not required."
Alba would go on to report that those he spoke with said they never felt pressured by WWE not to wear a face mask. In addition, they had their temperatures taken and had to sign waivers.
This comes after WWE announced a developmental talent had tested positive for COVID-19. As previously reported, WWE had not been testing for COVID-19, only checking temperatures and taking other measures as talent entered the Performance Center.
