WWE has filed a new trademark for a staple character of 2021.
On August 16, WWE filed a trademark on "'Reggie" related to wrestling and overall entertainment services.
The following description was given for the term.
Mark For: REGGIE trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports via an online community portal.
The current WWE 24/7 Champion came into the company as “Tommy,” Carmella’s sommelier. The name was then changed to “Reginald Thomas,” and then just “Reginald," and now just “Reggie." Fightful Select previously reported that Vince McMahon is a big fan of Reggie. Learn more here.
