WWE has filed a new description on the "WCW" trademark.

On March 22, WWE filed to trademark "WCW" with the description relating to toys and merchandise purposes.

WWE already has the trademark on "WCW" for other purposes including entertainment services. WWE purchased WCW in March 2001.
