WWE Files Trademarks On Several Nicknames And Slogans For Merchandising Purposes

WWE has filed a new trademark for one of its top superstars.

On August 9, WWE filed several trademarks on nicknames and slogans for several top acts across all brands with the intent of using the trademarks for merchandising.

The following terms were trademarked:

  • Claymore Country (Drew McIntyre slogan)
  • Wreck Everyone & Leave (Roman Reigns slogan)
  • Stun The World (Kevin Owens slogan)
  • Legit Boss (Sasha Banks’ nickname)
  • Hit Row (NXT faction)

The following descriptions were given for the terms.

Trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of clothing, namely, tops, shirts, jackets, sweatshirts, hoodies; outerwear, namely, coats; bottoms, pants, shorts, underwear, dresses, pajamas, lingerie, clothing ties, scarves, gloves, swimwear; Halloween and masquerade costumes; footwear, namely, shoes, sneakers, slippers, flip flops, boots; headwear, namely, hats, caps; wrist bands; bandanas; championship trophy belts.
