WWE Hall Of Famer Donald Trump Contracts COVID-19 Virus

A WWE Hall of Famer has contracted COVID-19.

Donald Trump announced early Friday that he ended up with the virus, as did his wife Melania. Trump tweeted the news, with an uplifting message regarding the virus.

Trump was a major part of WWE WrestleMania 23 in 2007, where he and WWE Chairman Vince McMahon took on one another in a hair vs. hair "Battle of the Billionaires" match, with Trump's side emerging victorious. The two were represented by Umaga and Bobby Lashley, respectively. Trump also hosted WrestleMania events in 1988 and 1989 at "Trump Plaza," the now Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Trump was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013.

His sell and general performance of receiving a Stone Cold Stunner from Steve Austin is widely considered the worst of all-time by a wide margin.

On the MMA side of the coin, Trump has referenced Colby Covington, Kamaru Usman and Jorge Masvidal recently, and is a longtime friend of UFC President Dana White. Covington has fielded calls from Trump after his wins in recent years, and White has even spoken at multiple Republican National Conventions on behalf of Trump.

Donald Trump is also President of the United States of America. "I wear masks when needed. When needed, I wear masks. I don't have -- I don't wear masks like him. Every time you see (Democratic candidate Joe Biden), he's got a mask. He could be speaking 200 feet away from them and he shows up with the biggest mask I've ever seen," he said during Tuesday's debate.

Former Presidential hopeful Andrew Yang has recently spoke out on behalf of WWE superstars affected by WWE's new third-party policies, and also reacted to Trump's news.
