WWE Has Signed More Than A Dozen Athletes From WrestleMania 38 Tryouts

WWE held a round of tryouts for current or recently graduated college athletes during WrestleMania 38 week in Dallas.

Coming out of the tryouts, more than a dozen athletes have been signed by the promotion according to the Dallas Morning News.

Signees include Lexie Amrhein, a 2020 national champion in acrobatics and tumbling from Bayley, Houston Miller, a former Texas Tech defensive end, Tracy Hancock, a former American Olympian in wrestling, and Valerie Loureda, an ex-Bellator fighter.

WWE says “several others” are in “different points in the process” to start with the company, and the total is “more than 20″ from Frisco’s tryout alone.

WWE is holding another set of tryouts for college athletes during SummerSlam week in Nashville, TN.
