It is currently unclear whether the event will be a premium live event or not. The company last appeared in the country in 2017 for a non televised live event.

In the coming weeks, WWE is set to visit Saudi Arabia for the Night Of Champions premium live event, as well as London for the big Money In The Bank premium live event. Earlier this month, the company hosted the most successful Backlash event of all time in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Back in March, a report surfaced noting that WWE was negotiating with the Australian government to bring a stadium show to the country. Fans can learn more here.

The country hosted WWE Super Showdown in 2018 in Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The event had an announced attendance of 70,309 people.
