WWE Hopeful Rhea Ripley Will Be Ready To Return By Fall 2026

WWE is hoping that Rhea Ripley will be back by the fall.

WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley is out of action with a meniscus injury. As a result, an Interim WWE Women’s Champion will be crowned at SummerSlam via a Ladder match.

As for Ripley’s injury, WrestleVotes on Fightful Select learned that there was a strong internal push for Ripley to take the necessary time she needs to fully recover, as opposed to pushing through for SummerSlam.

The company is hopeful she’ll be good to go by the fall.

“There was a strong internal push for Rhea Ripley to take the necessary time to recover fully, rather than pushing it for SummerSlam and potentially worsening the injury, a source told @WrestleVotes Radio on @FightfulSelect.

WWE is hopeful that Ripley will be ready by the fall.”
