For the first time ever, NXT will invite virtual fans inside of the Capitol Wrestling Center to participate in a live episode of NXT.

WWE sent out an email to fans this morning inviting them to participate inside of a ThunderDome-like setup to participate in a live episode of WWE’s Wednesday night program.

Prior to this, WWE had been using archived fan footage from previous Raw, SmackDown and pay-per-view events that were held inside of ThunderDome for NXT events that were held inside of the Capitol Wrestling Center, a visually-transformed WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. WWE began using this venue for all of their NXT-branded events beginning with NXT TakeOver 31 in October 2020.

Recently, it was announced that WWE Superstar Spectacle, the special WWE taping for the Indian market, which is believed to lead to an NXT India brand, will take place inside of WWE ThunderDome. Learn more at this link.
