WWE Makes More Corporate Changes, Hires New Principal Accounting Officer

WWE continues to make changes with their corporate structure.

Following reports that WWE released John Brody, who was the Executive Vice President, Global Head of Sales and Partnerships and Head of International, a new 8-K filing by WWE reveals that after 19 years, Mark Kowal is no longer the Chief Accounting Officer of WWE. In his place, WWE has hired Karen Mullane as Controller and Principal Accounting Officer as of Thursday, November 19, 2020.

According to the new filing, Mullane had served as the Chief Financial Officer of CreateMe Technologies, a privately held company bringing technology and hardware innovations to the apparel industry. Prior to that, from January 2019 until April 2020 she served as Vice President and Corporate Controller of SeatGeek.

The filing also notes that her annual base salary is $415,000.

2020 has been a year that has seen many changes within WWE's corporate structure. Recently, they hired a new president in Nick Khan and a new Chief Financial Officer in Kristina Salen. Also, back in January, WWE released its co-presidents, Michelle Wilson and George Barrios.
