Women's Money In The Bank Winner Crowned At WWE Money In The Bank 2021

The main card of Money in the Bank was kicked off by the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

Asuka, Tamina, Natalya, Nikki A.S.H., Alexa Bliss, Liv Morgan, Naomi, and Zelina Vega were the contestants. The winner, as always, would earn a guaranteed Championship opportunity at a time of their choosing.

Everyone had their fair share of opportunities to grab the briefcase, but it was Nikki A.S.H. who would emerge victoriously. With Alexa Bliss buried under ladders outside of the ring, the remaining women brawled atop three ladders in the middle of the ring. With everyone looking up, nobody noticed Nikki climbing up behind them, allowing her to grab the prize unimpeded.

Nikki has been on a roll as of late, winning her last 10 matches dating back to May 10th. She unveiled her new almost a superhero persona on the June 21 edition of Raw.

Last year's edition of the match took place at WWE's headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut. On that night, Asuka would capture the briefcase. The next night on Raw, Becky Lynch announced her pregnancy and vacated the title. She revealed that the Ladder Match was in fact for the belt rather than a contract, making Asuka the new champion.
