Coming out of WrestleMania week, WWE's main roster took a break from the road but the NXT crew held a couple of events close to home base in Florida over the weekend.
The two events included several participants in the WWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament held earlier this year, including the winner and champion, Tyler Bate, who successfully defended his title at the April 7 event in Fort Pierce. Pete Dunne and Mark Andrews also had matches during the weekend.
And, after speculation earlier this week about her status with the company, Sarah Bridges faced Daria Berenato in Fort Pierce. Bridges, who went by "Crazy" Mary Dobson on the independent circuit, had raised questions about her status after amending her Twitter profile.
The April 8 event in Largo also saw an interesting trio in a six-man tag match, as Kassius Ohno joined forces with Aleister Black and Hideo Itami in a winning effort.
