WWE Raw 12/17 Viewership Up 16 Percent, Back Over 2.5 Million Viewers

The return of the McMahon family led to a big boost in viewership for Monday's episode of Raw.

ShowBuzzDaily reports that the Dec. 17 episode of Raw averaged 2,547,000 viewers. This number is up from last week's average of 2,193,000 viewers, which was an all-time low for the program.

Monday's episode drew the highest viewership since the Oct. 22 edition, which produced 2,548,000 viewers. That was the night in which Roman Reigns announced his leukemia had returned.

Monday's episode averaged a 0.86 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic, up from last week's 0.75 rating.

The first hour of Raw finished fourth among cable originals while the second hour was fifth and the third hour placed sixth. Monday Night Football won the night on cable with 13 million viewers and a 3.95 demographic rating. Those numbers are up from last week's game.

Hour 1: 2.717 million viewers, .93 rating in 18-49 demographic

Hour 2: 2.558 million viewers, .87 rating in 18-49 demographic

Hour 3: 2.367 million viewers, .78 rating in 18-49 demographic
