WWE Receives Approval For $4.3 Million In Tax Credits For WrestleMania 42

The 2026 tax credit number is higher than the 2025 number.

Brandon Thurston posted a new story to POST Wrestling that has to do with the tax credits that WWE has qualified for for the production of WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas, Nevada, on April 18th and 19th.

WWE got approval for $4,314,821 in tax credits for WrestleMania 42 and other related events that week. That was made public by the Nevada agency that approves applications as such.

The tax credit is based on how much WWE expects to spend to produce the events, and in this case, that number is $35 milion.

This year’s tax credit is higher than the 2025 number, which was $4.2 million.

POST Wrestling received confirmation from Carli Smith, the Director of Communications at the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development, that the application was approved. An independent audit is involved, and the qualifying amount is the max that WWE will receive.

In the public record of the application, the G.O.E.D. allowed WWE to redact the stadium fee and talent budget. WWE’s request to seal a required transcript was also accepted.
