WWE Releases Hit Row, Tegan Nox, John Morrison, Drake Maverick, And More

WWE released a handful of main roster talent on November 18.

Fightful reports that WWE released the following talent on November 18:

Michin: Today Is The Day I Bring My Baby Home

- John Morrison: Re-signed with WWE in September 2019 and returned on-screen in January 2020. Last wrestled on the November 18 episode of WWE Main Event.

- Hit Row: Isaiah "Swerve" Scott, Ashante "Thee" Adonis, and Top Dolla were drafted to WWE SmackDown in the 2021 WWE Draft. Were entering a storyline with Jinder Mahal and Shanky.

- Tegan Nox: Signed with WWE in April 2017 to compete in the Mae Young Classic. Last wrestled at a live event on October 17.

- Drake Maverick: Originally released in April 2020, but was re-signed following the Interim NXT Cruiserweight Title Tournament. Won the WWE 24/7 Title on the November 8 episode of WWE Raw before losing it immediately.

- Shane Thorne: Signed with WWE in 2016. Was part of RETRIBUTION as SLAPJACK. Debuted a new character in a dark match in September. Last wrestled in a dark match on September 24.

- Jaxson Ryker: Signed with WWE in May 2017. Last wrestled on the November 4 episode of WWE Main Event.

In an internal e-mail, WWE head of talent relations John Laurinaitis cited budget cuts as the reason.
