Shayna Baszler Released By WWE, Offers Comment

Shayna Bazler has been released by WWE.

WWE has released Shayna Baszler as part of the company’s latest round of roster cuts. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful first reported the news. Baszler was a dominant two-time NXT Women's Champion. She was called up to the main roster in 2020 and held the WWE women's Tag Team Championship on multiple occasions with Nia Jax and Ronda Rousey. Most recently, she had been paired with Zoey Stark and Sonya Deville as part of the Pure Fusion Collective. Deville was released earlier in 2025.

Baszler took to X after her release to highlight her unique set of skills.

Shayna Baszler has recently competed outside of WWE as part of the Josh Barnett Bloodsport events put on by GCW.
