WWE Releases Teaser For Southpaw Regional Wrestling Season 3

It's not Lethal Leap Year, but there is big news coming out of South Paw Regional Wrestling.

WWE announced Southpaw Regional Wrestling is returning for season 3. The new season is set to premiere this summer, but no official premiere date was given.

The fictional promotion, which is a parody of 80s southern wrestling, debuted in 2017. There have been two seasons and 12 total episodes.

The cast includes Karl Anderson as Chad 2 Badd, Seth Rollins as "Dry Rub" Doug, Daniel Bryan as René Beret and Dan Bandana, Tyler Breeze as Mr. Mackelroy, Luke Gallows as Tex Ferguson and much more. John Cena also had a role as studio host Lance Catamaran. The other host, Chett Chetterfield, was portrayed by Fandango.

In the teaser trailer above, Lance calls Chett, wanting to get the band back together.

It is unknown who will be involved with season 3. Backstage interviewer Cameron "Clint" Bobski, portrayed by Chris Jericho, is now with AEW and others who had characters such as Rhyno, The Ascension, and Luke Harper are no longer with WWE.
