WWE Reveals 2021 King Of The Ring Bracket, Finals To Take Place At Crown Jewel

WWE has released the King of the Ring bracket.

On Friday, October 8, WWE's King of the Ring and Queen's Crown tournaments got underway. The first match of the night saw Sami Zayn defeat Rey Mysterio. He will face the winner of Cesaro versus Finn Balor next week. Ahead of the bout, WWE revealed all of the first-round matches. Furthermore, they announced that the finals will take place at Crown Jewel on October 21, 2021.

The other first-round matches will see Kofi Kingston take on Jinder Mahal, Xavier Woods will face Ricochet and, of course, Cesaro versus Finn Balor.

The bracket for the Queen's Crown tournament has yet to be revealed. Carmella is set to face Liv Morgan in a first-round match later tonight.

The last time the King of the Ring tournament was held was in 2019 and it was won by Baron Corbin. It had been a yearly event until 2002 and then it became far more sporadic. In the 19 years since then, it has only taken place five times.

Earlier today, Shinsuke Nakamura relinquished his crown.
