WWE Royal Rumble 2026 Set For January 31 In Saudi Arabia

WWE revealed the date for WWE Royal Rumble 2026, announcing that the event will take place on Saturday, January 31st.

The event will emenate from Saudi Arabia. This will be the first Royal Rumble event to take place outside of North America.

The winners of the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches earn a title shot at WrestleMania.

The date was confirmed during the WrestleMania 43 press conference where it was announced that WrestleMania 43 in 2027 would take place in Saudi Arabia.

Turki Alalshikh, the chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority, said in May 2024 that they were looking to bring WrestleMania or the Royal Rumble to Saudi. Turki noted that the deal could happen in 2026 or 2027.

In March 2018, WWE and Saudi Arabia agreed to a ten-year partnership. WWE has annually hosted multiple events in Saudi Arabia as part of the agreement.

Saudi Arabia previously hosted the Greatest Royal Rumble in 2018. The 50-man Rumble was won by Braun Strowman.
