WWE’s Residency At Yuengling Center In Tampa Slated To End On August 3

An end-date has been given to WWE's next ThunderDome residency in Tampa, Florida.

The ThunderDome debuted in August of last year. Debuting on the Friday before the 2020 SummerSlam after WWE had spent nearly six months producing all of its main roster content from an empty WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

Initially, WWE built its ThunderDome concept in the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. After spending four months in the Amway Center, WWE moved the structure to Tropicana Field in Saint Petersburg, Florida.

After spending a third of a calendar year in Tropicana Field, WWE announced that following WrestleMania 37, which will have a live audience in attendance in Raymond James Stadium, WWE will move ThunderDome to the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida.

Now, the official website of the arena has provided an end date to WWE's upcoming residency.

According to the website of the Yuengling Center, WWE's next residency will end on August 3, 2021. This would make the August 2 Monday Night Raw the final live television program broadcast from the Yuengling Center.

Per a report from Sports Illustrated, the plan is for WWE to remain inside the ThunderDome for the first half of the year while gauging whether or not it is going to be safe to resume any form of touring after that.
