WWE Shortens Andrade "Cien" Almas' Name; Now Going By "Andrade"

Another WWE superstar has undergone a name change.

WWE has altered the names of a number of superstars over the past two years. Luke Harper and Erick Rowan have been shortened to Harper and Rowan. Apollo Crews was shortened to Apollo but was soon given his last name back, and the next to be added to that list is former NXT Champion and current SmackDown Live star Andrade "Cien" Almas.

Before tonight's SmackDown broadcast went live on the USA Network, it was shown on the match graphic for Rey Mysterio and Almas' match that Andrade was listed as just "Andrade" and the announcers referred to him only by his first name as well.
