Despite being live for the first time in two weeks, SmackDown's viewership was down from the holidays.

ShowBuzzDaily reports that the Jan. 8 episode of SmackDown drew 2,032,000 viewers. This number is down from the Jan. 1 episode, which drew 2,091,000 viewers. The Jan 1 episode was taped the weekend prior to its airing. Tuesday was the first live episode since Dec. 18, which drew 2,214,000 million viewers.
