WWE SmackDown 3/27 Viewership Down For Taped Episode At WWE Performance Center

SmackDown's third show at the Performance Center sees a downward trend in viewership just nine nights out from WrestleMania.

According to overnight numbers released by ShowBuzz Daily, the March 27 episode of SmackDown averaged 2.374 million viewers, down from the 2.562 million viewers the March 20 episode averaged.

This week's episode was the third episode to air from the WWE Performance Center and the first SmackDown episode to air from the mass taping at the Performance Center which encompasses all episodes of WWE television through the 4/6 episode of Raw. This taping includes the two nights of WrestleMania 36 that will air on WWE Network and pay-per-view on April 4th and 5th.

In the 18-49 demographic, SmackDown averaged 0.7 rating, slightly less than last week's 0.75 rating. This week's show featured several new WrestleMania matches made, a new Firefly Fun House, and a replay of Triple H vs. Roman Reigns from WrestleMania 32.

Hourly Breakdown:

Hour 1: 2.393 million viewers, 0.7 rating in the 18-49 demographic

Hour 2: 2.355 million viewers, 0.7 rating in the 18-49 demographic
