WWE SmackDown 7/30 Viewership Drops Against Democratic Debate

SmackDown falls to politics.

ShowBuzzDaily reports that Tuesday's episode of SmackDown Live drew 1,911,000 viewers. This number is down from last week's viewership number of 2,161,000 and the first time in three weeks that the number has dipped below 2 million viewers.

The rating was down to a 0.57 in the 18 to 49 demographic after two straight weeks of posting a 0.65 rating. SmackDown finished fifth on the night behind CNN's coverage of the Democratic Debate. The actual debate itself won the night with 8.6 million viewers while the closing statements, opening statements, and analysis finished second, third, and fourth respectively.
