- We open tonight's show with John Cena who addresses Roman Reigns denying his challenge for the Universal title at Summerslam and accepting Finn Balor's challenge instead before he's interrupted by Baron Corbin who calls John a sell out and gets hit with an Attitude Adjustment.
- Backstage The Mysterios meet ahead of Rey's match against Jimmy Uso up next as we go to commercial.
Jimmy Uso (w/ Jey Uso) vs Rey Mysterio (w/ Dominik Mysterio)
Jimmy drops Rey with a shoulder block before Rey hits a head scissors and punches Jimmy in mount in the corner before hitting a bulldog out of the corner for two before Rey sends Jimmy out of the ring and Jimmy superkicks Rey at ringside as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Rey making his comeback as he rocks Jimmy with a buzzsaw kick before Jimmy rocks him with an enzuigiri and Rey counters a Samoan drop into a dropkick to the knee before Jey saves Jimmy from a 619 and Rey takes out both Jimmy and Jey at ringside before tossing Jimmy back inside. Rey then hits Jey with a 619 before Jimmy catches Rey when he goes for another 619 and Rey rolls Jimmy up before Dom holds onto Rey for leverage for the pin and the win.
Winner: Rey Mysterio defeats Jimmy Uso via pinfall.
- We go to the ring with Smackdown Women's champion Bianca Belair being interviewed before she's interrupted by Carmella and Zelina Vega before the two attack Bianca until she's saved by the returning Sasha Banks and the two share a hug and dance.
- We get a backstage interview with 24/7 champion Reginald before he comes out to the ring for match against Chad Gable.
WWE 24/7 Championship Match
Chad Gable (w/ Otis) vs Reginald
Otis and Chad lay out Reggie before the match starts before Chad drops him as soon as the match starts and Chad gets two off of a bridging German before Reggie hits his finisher to Chad and Otis grabs him and throws him over the top rope for the disqualification.
Winner: Reginald retains his 24/7 title by defeating Chad Gable via disqualification.
- We go to the ring for the contract signing for the Universal title between the champion Roman Reigns, and the challenger Finn Balor for their match at Summerslam before Roman signs the contract and hands it to Paul who throws it out of the ring before Finn can sign the contract and is attacked by Baron Corbin before John Cena comes out and attacks Baron. John then takes out a pen he brought with him and signs the contract before leaving as Roman becomes infuriated.
Big E, Cesaro & Shinsuke Nakamura vs Apollo Crews, Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode
E and Apollo start the match off before Apollo dumps E out of the ring and Dolph and Robert double team E at ringside as we go to commercial.
We come back from the break to Cesaro getting the hot tag and clearing the opposite apron before hitting Dolph with a discus clothesline for two before swinging him and locking in a sharpshooter before Robert drags Dolph to the ropes for the break before Cesaro and Shin double up on Dolph for a deep two count. Shin then teases a Kinshasa before Dolph hits the Zig-Zag and Apollo gets the hot tag and hits a standing moonsault for a near fall that Cesaro breaks up before everyone hits a move until Apollo hits Shin with a German for a near fall before Shin hits a Kinshasa for the pin and the win.
Winner: Shinsuke Nakamura, Big E, and Cesaro defeat Apollo Crews, Dolph Ziggler, and Robert Roode via pinfall.
- Edge comes out to the ring as we go to commercial before we come back and see that Seth came out and laid Edge out during the break with a camera before we go to Seth in the ring as he addresses their match at Summerslam.
Sasha Banks & Bianca Belair vs Carmella & Zelina Vega
Sasha and Carmella start the match off for their respective teams before Zelina and Carmella isolate Bianca as we come back from the break before Bianca rushes out of the corner with a clothesline before Zelina blocks her from tagging in Sasha and locking in an octopus stretch. Sasha gets the hot tag and drops Zelina before hitting a frog splash for a near fall that Carmella breaks up before tagging in legally and rocking Sasha with kicks before hitting a sit-out facebuster for a near fall that Bianca breaks up and sends Zelina out of the ring. Sasha then submits Carmella with the Banks Statement for the tap and the win.
Winner: Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair defeat Carmella and Zelina Vega via pinfall.
- After the match Sasha turns on Bianca and attacks her before laying her out and proclaiming that she's come back for her title before laying Bianca out with a tornado DDT and locking in the Banks Statement before forcing Bianca to tap as we go off the air with Sasha standing tall.
