WWE SmackDown Records Small Decrease In Average Viewership On 8/18/23

Check out the ratings for the August 18 episode of WWE SmackDown.

On Monday, August 21, Wrestlenomics reported that the August 18 episode of SmackDown drew 2.094 million viewers in final viewership numbers. This is down slightly from the August 11 episode, which drew 2.097 million viewers.

Furthermore, Friday's SmackDown drew a 0.55 rating in the key 18 to 49 demographic. This is the same rating that the show drew on on August 11.

Programming Insider reported on Saturday, August 19, that Friday's episode of WWE SmackDown drew 2.233 million viewers in the preliminary viewership. Hour one drew 2.240 million viewers. Hour two drew 2.225 million viewers. This number is down from the 2.650 million viewers the show drew on August 11 in preliminary viewership.

However, much like last week, this week's preliminary numbers are inflated as multiple markets aired local NFL preseason games.

The show drew a 0.53 rating in the key P18-59 demo ratings, down from August 4's 0.6 preliminary rating.
