WWE SmackDown Results (2/6): Elimination Chamber Qualifying Matches, Cody Rhodes Appears

WWE aired the latest episode of WWE SmackDown on February 6 from Spectrum Center in Charlotte, NC.

• Cody Rhodes attacks Drew McIntyre as he is making his entrance. Cody got on the mic and said CM Punk and Roman Reigns are lucky that he wasn’t part of their dick measuring contest because he didn’t get the nickname Raheem for no reason. He went on to say that Drew McIntyre doesn’t have to worry about making it to WrestleMania.
• Giulia and Kiana speak with Cathy Kelley.
• Nick Aldis tells Cody to control his emotions and leave. He also says Cody will be in an Elimination Chamber qualifying match next Friday.
• WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships: RHIYO (Rhea Ripley & IYO SKY) (c) def. Kiana James & Giulia.
• The Miz stops Ilja Dragunov backstage. He says he shut down the US Title open challenge. Carmelo Hayes walks up and says Ilja is owed a title shot and he makes the rules.
• Carmelo Hayes def. The Miz
• Cathy Kelley speaks with Tiffany Stratton. Chelsea Green interrupts and says she is the headline.
• Bo Dallas video promo. He addresses Solo Sikoa.
• Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match: Tiffany Stratton def. Chelsea Green and Lash Legend
• Aleister Black interrupts Randy Orton speaking to Cathy Kelley. He says we lost two legends to retirement, but we’re blessed to have part of Randy Orton.
• Kit Wilson says everyone in the Royal Rumble was toxic. He calls out anyone who was in the Rumble.
• Oba Femi def. Kit Wilson
• R-Truth is watching with Damian Priest, praising Oba. McIntyre bumps Truth and Priest steps between them.
• McIntyre makes it to the ring before he is attacked by Jacob Fatu.
• Aldis tells Jacob he has an Elimination Chamber qualifying match next Friday and sends him home.
• Tama Tonga def. Shinsuke Nakamura
• Fraxiom (Axiom & Nathan Frazer) are walking backstage with Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin). Candice LeRae points out that Johnny Gargano, who is lying face down on an equipment case, is in shambles after losing Axiom’s mask last Friday. Fraxion and MCMG don’t care.
• Nia Jax & Lash Legend interrupt a promo with RHIYO. Nia is going to speak with Aldis about a potential match.
• Kit Wilson runs into Matt Cardona and Apollo Crews. Kit calls Cardona toxic, Cardona says he’s always ready.
• Liv Morgan, who still doesn’t make her WrestleMania decision, is interrupted by Jade Cargill and Jordynne Grace. A tag team match is made.
• Jade Cargill & Jordynne Grace def. Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez
• Rey Fenix gives Sami Zayn a pep talk. Trick Williams interrupts. He says Sami can’t get the job done.
• Nick Aldis says Jade Cargill will defend her WWE Women’s Title against Jordynne Grace next Friday.
• Drew McIntyre says Cody and Jacob should be banned from the Elimination Chamber qualifying matches. He then responds to the comments from CM Punk and Roman Reigns from Raw, saying that the SmackDown roster should step up since Roman and Punk think it’s the secondary brand. He said he earned the title and that it is the number one title. He said Roman made the right choice picking Punk because he’s fragile, while Drew is a warrior who would’ve crushed him. He said while they are aura farming, he’ll be fighting at WrestleMania. Trick Williams comes out before Drew leaves and says Drew should be worried about him. Drew credits Trick for stepping up, but he needs to learn his place.
