WWE SmackDown Viewership Down For Royal Rumble Fallout Show

SmackDown's first show since the 2020 Royal Rumble saw a very slight dip in viewership compared to last week.

According to overnight numbers from Showbuzz Daily, the January 31 episode of SmackDown averaged 2.423 million viewers, down from last week's 2.469 million viewers the show averaged. For the month of January 2020, SmackDown averaged a little more than 2.478 million viewers on FOX across five episodes.

In the 18-49 demographic, the show produced a 0.7 rating across both hours, which is the same number as last week's show produced. This week's rating was also tied with CBS' Hawaii Five-O and Magnum P.I. for the highest among primetime programming between ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC and CW for January 31.

Hourly Breakdown:

Hour 1: 2.529 million viewers, 0.7 rating in the 18-49 demographic

Hour 2: 2.318 million viewers, 0.7 rating in the 18-49 demographic
