WWE: Unreal Director Believes ‘WrestleMania XL: Behind The Curtain’ Documentary Encouraged WWE To Go Through With ‘WWE: Unreal’

The director is making the media rounds.

One of the individuals who crafted the production aspect of WWE’s new Netflix series, titled ‘WWE: Unreal,’ is Chris Weaver.

The five-episode series premieres on July 29th, and Weaver is making the media rounds to promote the show. He chatted with Raj Prashad of Uncrowned. Weaver expressed his opinion that WWE rolling out the ‘WrestleMania XL: Behind the Curtain’ documentary encouraged them to go through with their new Netflix project.

“My opinion is, I think it certainly helped them get to the point where they’re like, alright, let’s go ahead — and not just pull back the curtain, let’s tear it down, so to speak.”

WWE: Unreal is going to take viewers inside the creative writing room for moments like John Cena’s heel turn, WrestleMania 41, and there are going to be interviews with the wrestlers themselves.
