WWE’s Decision Not To Broadcast Worlds Collide Live Was Made In An Effort To Impact AEW All Out Ticket Sales

On this week’s WWE SmackDown, the company confirmed a Fightful Select scoop when it announced that the show will not be broadcast live. Instead, the show will be available exclusively on YouTube on September 30 at 7 p.m. ET.
Fightful Select has provided more details regarding this decision.
“WWE’s decision not to broadcast Worlds Collide live was made in an effort to impact AEW All Out ticket sales in the Chicago area, @FightfulSelect has learned. WWE sources admitted AEW sold better than they expected, though they were still happy with Worlds Collide sales. The decision to withhold a live broadcast was made by early August.”
