The IMPACT X Division Championship will be on the line at Homecoming.
After successfully defending his title in an Ultimate X match at Slammiversary, Josh Alexander was ready for his next challenge. Backstage, he was approached by Scott D'Amore, who said that he was giving the Walking Weapon some time to recover after such a gruelling match.
After informing the IMPACT Executive that he was ready to get back in the ring and prove himself to be the top dog in the promotion, D'Amore booked him in a Championship bout versus Black Taurus. The two men will face off at Homecoming this Saturday, July 31.
The Decay member hasn't won a singles match on IMPACT television since February 9, 2021, when he defeated Kaleb with a K.
