The September 2 episode of IMPACT Wrestling is beginning to take shape.
After successfully defending his X Division Title at Emergence, Josh Alexander is looking for his next opponent and will be issuing an open challenge next week to any former X Division Champions.
Also set for next week is a match between Ace Austin and Tommy Dreamer. If Dreamer is able to defeat Austin, he will be added to the IMPACT Championship match at Victory Road. Dreamer expressed his hopes of facing Cage one last time before he was confronted by Ace.
Additionally, Matt Cardona and Chelsea Green will face Shera and Rohit Raju. Backstage, Green said that Shera may not want to hit a woman, but she has no problem smacking the look off of his face. Cardona asked if she was sure about facing them together to which she replied, yes.
Finally, Tenille Dashwood, Kaleb, and Madison Rayne will take on Taylor Wilde, Jordynne Grace, and Rachael Ellering. The Influence defeated Wilde in a 3-on-1 match tonight but were chased off by the former Knockouts Tag Team Champions.
