Xavier Woods: If We Can Legit Branch Out And Wrestle Other Teams, We'd Love A Six-Man With The Elite

In July 2014, The New Day (Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston, & Big E) was introduced to the WWE Universe by preaching positivity.

Almost a decade later, they are the most decorated trio in WWE history with multiple tag team title runs and singles accolades, including Kofi Kingston and Big E winning the WWE Championship.

Speaking on My Love Letter to Wrestling, Woods was asked how he would like to celebrate the New Day ten-year anniversary.

"I feel like the ten-year anniversary for New Day, my magic wand wish would be we get to go to Tokyo for a week. Spend time in Tokyo arcades for a full week hanging out," he said.

When asked if he would possibly compete in NJPW during his trip, Woods replied, "As much as we can get. Especially if we can work at other places now. I'm trying to wrestle everybody."

Asked who he would like to wrestle from other companies, Woods said, "There are so many names on the list. It feels weird to start anywhere because I want to start everywhere. If we could legit branch out and wrestle other teams, obviously, the Young Bucks. We'd love a six-man with the Elite. There are so many people. I can't name them."

Five years ago, New Day battled The Elite (Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks) in an epic Street Fighter V showdown.

The Elite were victorious in the trios arcade action with Omega defeating Woods in the finale.

Woods hasn't competed since the May 15 episode of WWE Raw when he lost to Dominik Mysterio.
