Xavier Woods Says He Has A Couple Of Tears In His Shoulder, Hopes He Just Needs Physical Therapy And Not Surgery
On the February 16 episode of WWE Raw, Kofi Kingston revealed that Xavier Woods was taking time off as he’s been dealing with a shoulder injury for three months.
Woods last wrestled in a dark match ahead of the WWE Royal Rumble.
Speaking to TJ Henderson & O’Shea Jackson Jr on No-Contest Wrestling, Woods gave an update on how he’s feeling.
“My shoulder has apparently gone through the meat grinder. I have a couple of tears in there. We’re hoping that it’s just physical therapy and I’ll be alright. If not, then ya boy will have to get cut open. We’ll see how it goes. I’m positive. I’m optimistic. If it is surgery, then that’s what it is. Everything happens for a reason,” he said.
Woods was on Monday’s Raw, wearing a sling as Kofi Kingston took on Je’Von Evans.
Fightful wishes Xavier Woods the best as he recovers.
