Xia Brookside Wants To Win TNA Knockouts Tag Team Titles With Lei Ying Lee

Xia Brookside wants to win gold with Lei Ying Lee.

Back in March, Xia Brookside and Lei Ying Lee teamed for the first time, defeating the duo of Savannah Evans and Rosemary on the March 20 episode of TNA iMPACT.

Since then, Brookside and Lee have defeated other teams like Fatal Influence and The Elegance Brand. Speaking with Last Word On Sports/3W Wrestling for a new interview, Brookside spoke about the team coming together.

“I think we came together. Originally, we were kind of just put together, and it just became magic. You know we are so polar opposites. We both bring something completely different to the table, and I think that’s what makes us such a good tag team. Like, Léi Ying Lee is such a hard-hitting, kicking, fighting, just warrior in herself. I bring more of the high-flying, speed, and technicality to it. It’s growing so fast. We’ve been working together for months. Our relationship is growing. I think that’s what’s going to make us the best tag team, it is just the chemistry that we have and the fact that we are completely different.”

Brookside went on to say that the team is aiming for the Knockouts Tag Team Championships.

“That would be incredible. That is where we are heading. That’s where we’re aiming to be. We’re training, we’re working together, and we’re getting to know each other better. Everything that we do is building towards going for the Knockouts Tag Team titles. So, that’s definitely a goal. Whether it’s next week, next month, or six months, I don’t know, but that’s where we’re heading. That’s where our eyes are set right now.”
