Xyon And Elektra Under The Mistletoe, Edris Enofé Upsets Von Wagner, And More | NXT Fight Size

Here is your post-NXT fight size update for Tuesday, December 21, 2021.

- The show started out with Tommaso Ciampa calling out Bron Breakker and announcing that they will meet in an NXT Championship match on January 4 at New Year's Evil.

- Raquel Gonzalez defeated Dakota Kai in a street fight and then called out Mandy Rose. Cora Jade came out instead, informing her friend that she also wants a shot at Mandy's Women's Championship. The Toxic Attraction leader then appeared on the tron and informed Raquel and Cora that she will defend the belt against both of them at New Year's Evil. Mandy's two challengers were then laid out by sneak attacks from Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne.

- Grizzled Young Vets and the Creed Brothers' tag match broke down when Jacket Time and Briggs and Jensen got involved, leading to an all-out brawl between all four teams.

- Dexter Lumis defeated Trick Williams via submission but was attacked by Grayson Waller with a steel chair after the bell. They will go one-on-one next week.

AJ Styles then came out and confronted Waller. Grayson asked if he was looking to put over young talent or if he was searching for a new tag partner. AJ complimented Waller but says he doesn't have what it takes to be Phenomenal for twenty-plus years. They seemed ready to fight but Waller backed out, saying he'd let Omos go first and then take on AJ next.

- Riddle is coming to NXT next week to support MSK as they confront Imperium and look to take back their tag team titles.

- Edris Enofe scored the upset victory over Von Wagner but was attacked by the big man after the bell.

- Joe Gacy and Harland believe Brian Kendrick is responsible for what happened last week when Harland threw him down a flight of stairs. Kendrick addressed them, saying that he has resigned as a coach in NXT and if Harland wants an apology, he can meet him in the ring next week.

- Io Shirai defeated Elektra Lopez after she was distracted by Xyon Quinn who came to ringside with mistletoe. Santos Escobar pulled him off of the apron before anything could happen but Quinn fought back and left all of Legado laying to end the segment.

- In the main event, Pete Dunne defeated Tony D'Angelo, handing him his first loss in NXT. After the match, Tony attacked Dunne, pinning him to the announce table and smashing his hand with a crowbar.
