Yoshiki Inamura Believes Challenger With ‘WWE Experience’ Will Be Revealed After Title Defense On April 12th

Inamura further addresses KENTA’s remarks.
April 12th is the date of Pro Wrestling NOAH’s ‘Apex Conquest’ show at the Nagoya Kinjofuto Arena in Nagoya, Japan.
Headlining the show will be Yoshiki Inamura defending the GHC Heavyweight Championship against Alpha Wolf. To promote the bout, Inamura was interviewed by NOAH’s official website. One of the questions asked of him had to do with KENTA’s comment about bringing someone with ‘WWE experience’ to challenge Inamura.
Inamura stated that if he is to retain the belt, he’s sure the person KENTA is referring to will show up.
“Well, once I defend my title, I’m sure someone with ‘WWE experience’ will come forward. With that in mind—and as I’ve been saying for a while now—I want to make NOAH a more global, worldwide organization, and I want to put on fights that reach a wider international audience. Also, just like at the recent Hachioji event, I want to create an environment where young talent can fight energetically within NOAH, with the spotlight on the Future Boys.”
Inamura spent a year with WWE as part of their NXT brand. For the majority of his time there, he was paired with Josh Briggs. His last match for WWE was in August 2025, where he lost a Street Fight to Briggs.
Inamura captured the GHC Heavyweight Title in November of that year.
